Rules for Lovergirl Fall

One of my best friends just broke up with their boyfriend. And I am so happy for them, because I've watched them clear space out in their life for more love!!!

I've made a conscientious effort to do so myself. Ever since I dated this beautiful man who refused to see me as anything other than a fantasy. And then there was the matter of the married man who was determined to see me as an escape from a life he deemed stagnant.

I've realized that I'm ready for love. For a full kind, that isn't just romantic. For a life of love, which is often terrifying because of all of the vulnerability that comes with it, like stripping off your skin and letting the world infect you, trusting that the outcome will be stronger and fuller and more alive, whatever that means.

Here are the rules for Lovergirl Fall

I will be meditating and reflecting on each deeper, in future posts, so that we can process them together:

1. Sexy self talk!!!

2. Be what you want from others.

3. Want nothing, but accept only the best.

4. Spend time alone.

5. Experience your own senses to the fullest degree.

6. Find something you would love to do in a vacuum, do it once a day (at least).

7. Make time for silence. Silence alone, and silence with those who you love.

Let's love this fall. Let's have it let's let it in, let's be it.
