Find Hot Literatis in Your City
Happy Monday angels!
Over the weekend, I ate some beautiful white figs and went to Brighton Beach. Otherwise, I've been inside.
I've been measuring my life lately by word count, as I try to finish a manuscript. I added this cool new feature to "Hot Literati Pro" (just a new name for the membership!) where you can set goals for
daily words written
daily pages read, and
books read per year.
This can help you if you’re a writer, a student, or just someone looking to experiment putting pen to paper.

We have two upcoming events this week:
- Eve Babitz night tomorrow in Chicago
- Art/Tech Salon on Thursday in San Francisco
Come meet other Hot Literatis!
Other things
So I've recently expanded Hot Literati a bit to allow people to build their own communities and list their own events on the platform. This is much easier to do on the website right now, so if you have a group chat you're persistently using something like Group Me and Instagram for, try building it on Hot Literati!
Or if you have a reading series that you're looking to get more people at, list it on our events page.
Trending books on Hot Literati
- East of Eden
- White Nights
- Jane Eyre
And we have new members this week from
- NYC - We have a bunch here & still growing. I just founded a group on the platform for writers in New York so I can organize writing groups etc! Join on the site.
- Abuja, Nigeria
- Liverpool
- London
- Oakland
- Phoenix
Join to connect, say hello, and perhaps start a book club.
You an also join ours, we're reading Swann's Way still haha. Join to nominate our next book.
Ok that's all! I'm going back into my little writing hole to crank out 20,000 words this week. Wish me luck and see you in the Hot Literati Universe.
xx
