Flirty Fall & WHIM Magazine Launch

Hello my angels!!!!

I hope you all are having a good time.

I woke up in a bad mood. I've ruined my sleep schedule, staying up until 2 am, just pacing around my room trying to talk myself into writing more and I've sort of looked at myself in the face and remembered that I work best under a routine.

I stepped out for coffee. Talked to one brave gentleman who's soliciting for a charity. He thought I was 22 and said I still had "the light in me." When I returned to my building, this woman who always has the best energy was exiting, all smiles. I was reminded through her, that it's good to be around other people and it's good to be a light around other people.

Speaking of being around other people, last night I went to the Launch party for a new magazine called "WHIM." I took the train to Baby's All Right in Williamsburg, very cold in an army jacket I've had since I was thirteen that I bought the first time I went to California. I gave my ID to the bouncer (I also need a new wallet haha my wallet is very faded, I've had it since I was 17), and then I beelined inside for a friend from Kansas. I met her friend as well, and we all gushed about Twilight, The Sheep Detectives, and WHIM.

Then, after thirty minutes or so, I excused myself to go write more. I got on the wrong train, realized I got on the wrong train and stepped off. I got home, and I tried to make myself write. But sometimes I feel that I can get so focused on my work that I miss the life part of life. Your life is looking at other people and noticing the color of the sky. It's important to not just romanticize the other stuff, but to be romantic in your own mind. It's something I have to try to remember myself.

So in the spirit of a romantic life, I announce once again the rise of Hot Literati's "Flirty Fall," along with a list of stuff for you and me to do this fall
