Where things go on a face

Most people put the eyes too high. A few simple guides fix almost every face.

1. 1Draw an egg shape. The eyes sit on a line halfway down, not near the top.
2. 2There’s about one eye’s width between the eyes.
3. 3The bottom of the nose is about halfway between the eyes and the chin. The mouth is a third of the way from the nose to the chin.
4. 4The tops of the ears line up with the eyebrows; the bottoms line up with the nose.
