A minor uses the same shape as E major, moved over one string. Index on the 1st fret of the B string, middle on the 2nd fret of the D string, ring on the 2nd fret of the G string.
Strum from the open A string down. Leave the low E silent. It is a soft, tender chord, and you will meet it everywhere.
