Bronx Community College Library
The story
The building that once housed this library is now an event space with a rotunda dome, a remnant of when New York University occupied the campus. The current library opened on September 21, 2012, when North Hall held its ribbon-cutting ceremony, making it only the second building on campus to serve as the library. Spread across two floors, it holds 25 group study rooms, a law collection classroom, and main stacks. The building carries LEED Silver certification, distinguishing it as one of the greener spaces in the City University of New York system.
