CRG Gallery

The story

CRG Gallery began in a townhouse on the Upper East Side — an unlikely birthplace for a space that would introduce New York to Mona Hatoum and Jim Hodges for the first time. Carla Chammas, Richard Desroche, and Glenn McMillan founded it in 1990, and the gallery kept moving as its ambitions grew: South SoHo, then 22nd Street, then the Lower East Side in 2015. Six shows a year, twenty-five years of artists. It closed in the summer of 2017.
