The story

The name means friendship — taken from ancient Greek — and that quiet warmth is built into everything the Attali brothers created when they founded Galerie Philia in 2015. The gallery spans Mexico, Geneva, New York, and Singapore, organizing exhibitions that treat design as art and art as conversation. A particular turning point came in 2022, when Jean Nouvel's private residence was opened for an exhibition for the first time, making Galerie Philia the occasion that unlocked a door no gallery had opened before. It continues staging shows that find unexpected rooms for unexpected objects.
